Is the billing IRD-approved?
SunpasalERP issues IRD-compliant electronic tax invoices through Tigg, an IRD-certified billing platform. Your invoices carry a fiscal number, your PAN, and separate VAT and luxury-tax lines, and they sync to the IRD via Tigg.
We're not on IRD electronic billing yet. Can we still use it?
Yes. SunpasalERP works fully standalone. Until you connect Tigg, bills print as a clearly marked estimate (not a tax invoice). When you're ready, you connect Tigg and the same bills become full tax invoices — no migration needed.
Does it handle jyala and jarti the way we quote?
Yes. Labour (jyala) and wastage (jarti) are separate, per-item defaults you can override at the counter. Jarti respects the bullion directive's 9% cap, and VAT and luxury tax are applied on the correct base automatically.
How is gold priced — per tola or per gram?
You set the rate per tola each morning; the system stores and prices to the gram using the Nepal standard of 1 tola = 11.6638 g. Pricing is server-decided, so the counter can't accidentally undercharge.
Are invoices in Nepali dates?
Yes — invoices and ledgers show the Bikram Sambat date with Devanagari numerals alongside the AD date. Reports switch between BS and AD.
Is my data safe? What if something is changed?
Access is role-based (owner, admin, cashier, accountant, or custom roles), every change is recorded in an audit log with who/what/when, and each invoice carries a tamper-evident verification hash. Your Tigg secret is stored encrypted.
We have more than one shop. Can it handle branches?
Yes — SunpasalERP supports multiple outlets, and every item, invoice and purchase is stamped with its branch. Tigg issues a separate IRD invoice sequence per branch.
We keep our khata by hand. Can we move our customers over?
Yes. Customers, balances and opening dues can be brought in, and from then on the khata is kept automatically — due, advance and payments always in sync.
